The Panther coaching staff led the program to its 12th national title.
The Middlebury women's lacrosse coaching staff was unveiled as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's (IWLCA) Division III National and Pilgrim Region Coaching Staff of the Year, receiving the accolades for the fifth consecutive season. Head coach Kate Livesay '03 and assistant coaches Olivia Seymour, Amy Patton and Bowen Holden guided the squad to an unblemished 23-0 record for the third time in four seasons and its 12th national title.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The Panthers hoisted their sixth NCAA Championship trophy in as many seasons of competition. of competition.
- Middlebury becomes the first program in Division III women's lacrosse history to win five in a row.
- Among the student-athletes coached by the staff were the IWLCA National Player, Attacker and Defender of the Year, as well as five All-Americans and eight all-region selections.
- The NESCAC Coaching Staff of the Year also boasted the league's offensive player of the year and five all-conference honorees.
- Middlebury resided in the top 10 nationally across numerous statistical categories, including scoring defense (5.17 - second), free-position percentage (.619 - second), draw control percentage (.668 - third), clearing percentage (.893 - fifth), and scoring margin (8.78 - eighth). The squad paced the NESCAC in each of those marks.
- The Panthers have tallied double-digit goals in 93 of their last 96 contests. The program has claimed 51 of its last 52 tilts on Peter Kohn Field and sports a 30-game winning streak in the NCAA Tournament.
- Livesay and her staff have won the national award on seven occasions (2016, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026).
