Calie Messina of the Middlebury women's basketball team was announced as a member of the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District squad.

HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS

• Messina secures the accolade for the first time.
• The Panther started all 24 games, pacing the team with 29.7 minutes per game and slotting second by scoring 9.3 points per contest.
• Messina enjoyed 11 double-digit scoring efforts, headlined by a 17-point outing with five three-pointers against Pacific Lutheran on December 30.
• The guard concludes her career with 709 points, 347 rebounds and 161 assists across 97 games and 68 starts.
• She ranked second in the NESCAC in three-point field goal percentage (.425) and tied Middlebury's single-game record for three-point field goal percentage (.857) a season ago.
• Messina is a two-time NESCAC All-Academic honoree.

The CSC Academic All-America teams will be announced on Wednesday, April 15.
