The Middlebury women's track and field team saw five Panthers secure All-American recognition, as announced by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The honors are based on their finishes at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.
Emily Rubio garnered a second-team selection in the pentathlon, while the distance medley relay (DMR) quartet of
Annelise Jensen,
Lily Bulczynski,
Naomi Atwood and
Claire Palmer also landed on the second team.
HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS
- Rubio (Second Team)
- Rubio earned indoor All-American praise for the second consecutive season.
- The senior accumulated 3,502 points to place 11th in the pentathlon. On the way, she recorded a career-best effort in the shot put (11.23 meters).
- Rubio claims the award after being crowned a First-Team All-American with a seventh-place finish at last season's NCAA Indoor Championships.
- DMR (Second Team)
- Atwood earned her second All-American nod in the event, while Jensen, Bulczynski and Palmer each took home their initial selections.
- The Middlebury group posted a clocking of 11:50.96, good for ninth at the indoor championships.
- The Panthers have 12 DMR teams secure All-American recognition.
