The Middlebury women's track and field team's distance medley relay (DMR) quartet, composed of

Emily Rubio in the pentathlon, competed on Friday at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.
HIGHLIGHTS
- In the pentathlon, Rubio placed 11th with 3,502 points. The senior earned top-10 spots in the shot put (sixth), high jump (seventh) and long jump (10th).
- In the final event of the day, the Panthers competed in the distance medley relay (DMR). The Middlebury group combined for a time of 11:50.96 to snag ninth overall.
NOTES
- Rubio made her third appearance at the indoor championships in the pentathlon, finishing seventh last winter and 12th during her first campaign in the same venue. Her performance also secures her second consecutive All-American indoor nod.
- Bulczynski participated in her second indoor national meet after she ran a leg on the 4x400 relay in 2024.
- Atwood's appearance was her second in as many seasons in the DMR, while Jensen and Palmer competed for the first time.
- As a program, Middlebury now has 12 DMR All-American teams.Â
- The program made its 21st appearance at the NCAA Championship.
