Grace Keefe garners her first NESCAC Player of the Week honor.
Grace Keefe of the top-ranked Middlebury field hockey team has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week. It is the initial time the Panther registered the weekly conference honor in her career.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Keefe tallied a career-best five points (2G, 1A) to push the squad to a 3-2 overtime victory over #9 Amherst in a top 10 NESCAC showdown.Â
- After knotting the game early in the second half, Keefe came up clutch late in regulation, collecting a deflected ball and firing a shot that tucked inside the left post with 2.4 seconds remaining to make it 2-2.Â
- In the extra session, the Panther gathered a saved attempt and sent it toward the left post to record the assist on the golden goal with 1:51 left in the first overtime.Â
- Through six contests, Keefe has played all but two minutes for Middlebury.

The Panthers return to the field with a road matchup on Tuesday against Skidmore at 4:00 p.m.
