The Middlebury men's lacrosse team earned the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team Academic Award, while
Teddy Curran,
Billy Curtis,
Patrick Jamin,
Henry Tarr and
Russell Thorndike were each named USILA Scholar All-Americans. Joining those Panthers as New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic honorees are
Finn McCarthy,
William Munroe,
Nate Ruoss and
Will Spehr for a total of nine honorees.
The NEILA award is given out to someone who has a senior or graduate student standing, a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better on a 4.00 scale and is an impact player for their team.
Curran was tabbed with his fourth NESCAC All-Academic selection earlier this spring. Jamin, McCarthy, Munroe, Ruoss, Spehr and Thorndike each secured their third league academic accolade, while Tarr recorded his second.
