The #6 Middlebury women's tennis team improved to 6-0 in NESCAC action with a 7-0 sweep over Colby on Sunday.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• The Panthers grabbed the doubles points to go up 1-0. The duo of Nathalie van der Reis and Lulu Wu defeated their opponent 6-1 at #3, while the tandem of Elsie Van Wieren and Claudia Miller won 6-4 in the second slot to secure the point. 
• Nina Farhat claimed the match's second point with a straight-set sweep against her opponent in the #5 spot.
• Van Wieren pushed the Panthers to a 3-0 lead, earning a 6-2, 6-0 victory in the second slot. 
• Gusty Beveridge clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Isabella Suk at #6. 
• In the top spot, Sahana Raman earned the fifth point, defeating Jade Finestone 6-0, 6-4.
• Wu secured a 6-1, 6-2 victory for a 6-0 lead.
• In the final match of the day, van der Reis won 6-3, 6-0 in the fourth slot to defeat the Mules 7-0.

NOTES

• Wu won her 50th career singles match.
• Raman and Farhat claimed their ninth victory in the last 10 matches as a duo.
• The programs met for the 32nd time with Middlebury holding a 28-4 lead, with the Panthers winning the last 22 matchups.

Middlebury hosts Connecticut College next Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Outdoor Tennis Courts.
