Alexa Mustafaj of the Middlebury women's basketball team earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District squad.

HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS
- Mustafaj receives the accolade for the second time in her career.
- She was recently named a Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-American Honorable Mention recipient for the third occasion and a D3hoops.com all-region selection for the fourth-consecutive campaign.
- The Panther tallied First Team All-NESCAC honors for the third-straight season.
- Mustafaj became the first player in Middlebury basketball history to eclipse the 2,000-point mark. She is the first women's player in conference history to reach the milestone.
- She has her name scattered throughout the program's record book, earning the top spot in total points (2,180), field goals made (815) and free throws made (397). Her 79.2 free throw percentage is also second all-time.
- Mustafaj paced the conference with 552 total points and 24.0 points per game (PPG). She also sat in the top five in field goal percentage (.451) and three-point percentage (.371).
- The Panther tallied 20 or more points in 17 contests with eight coming in the final 10 games.
- Off the court, Mustafaj is a three-time NESCAC All-Academic selection, a Middlebury College Scholar and participated in community service as an organizer for the Special Olympics.Â
The CSC Academic All-America teams will be announced on Wednesday, April 16.
