Sam Stevens of the Middlebury men's basketball team earned a place on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.

HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS
- Stevens was lauded with the organization's academic honor for the second time in his career.
- The Panther secured his second all-conference accolade this winter, earning a place on the second team.
- Stevens became the 28th player in program history to surpass 1,000 career points this winter. He finished with 1,214, which is 13th all-time.
- The shooting guard showed up inside the top-10 ranks of the NESCAC leaders this year. His 15.9 points per game (PPG) put him in a share of fourth, while his 82.4 free-throw percentage was seventh.
- Stevens led the Panthers with 382 total points, 140 field goals made and 61 successful charity tosses.
- In the squad's home finale, he racked up a career-high 29 points on 9-of-19 shooting alongside six rebounds and three steals in an 87-74 triumph over Colby.
- He tallied double-digit points in 20 of 24 contests this season, including nine of the final 10 games.
- Over his 88 career contests, Stevens averaged 13.9 PPG.
- He is a three-time NESCAC All-Academic honoree and a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.
The CSC Academic All-America teams will be announced on Tuesday, April 15.
