Women’s Track & Field Hosts Final Indoor Meet Of Season

Sztachelski was part of a winning relay and finished second in the 400.
The Panther women's track and field team hosted its final indoor meet of the season, collecting five first-place finishes. 
 
HIGHLIGHTS
  • In the mile, MK Cestaro shaved nearly two seconds off her personal best time, crossing the finish line first in 5:15.01. Shea Fajen followed in third place, clipping six seconds off her personal record (5:21.51).
  • In her first time running the 600 meters, Naomi Atwood stopped the clock in 1:37.57 to garner top honors. Lily Bulczynski followed in second with a time of 1:40.05.
  • Another one-two duo was Audrey MacLean and Bea Parr in the 3,000. Picking up where they left off from cross country, MacLean broke the tape at 10:05.40, followed closely by Parr (10:11.83). 
  • Adrienne Christy was the first to finish in the 800, clocking in at 2:27.44 to collect a personal-record time.
  • The 4x400 relay quartet of Nikky Sztachelski, Cate Kreutzen, Annabelle Cloney and Bulczynski combined for a winning time of 4:11.94.
  • Sztachelski also garnered runner-up honors, clocking in at 1:03.6 in the 400.
  • Other second-place finishes came from Macy Daggitt in the long jump (5.38m) and Addie Morrison in the 200 (26.28 seconds). 
A group of Panthers will participate in the prestigious Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational next weekend, while other members of the team compete at the Tufts University Invitational.
