The Middlebury volleyball team outlasted Williams in a thrilling four-set match on Friday in Pepin Gymnasium 3-1. The NESCAC contest featured 42 ties and 19 lead changes alongside three sets that concluded with a 26-24 score.

- Deadlocked at 1-1 in the opening set, the Ephs rattled off 10 of the next 15 points for a 10-6 lead on a Panther service error.
- Middlebury clawed its way back, tying the stanza (12-12) on a Molly Harrison service ace.
- Level at 24-24 after trading points, back-to-back kills from Gabby Pribisich and Ava Tuccio secured the opening frame, 26-24.
- The Panthers earned a 5-3 edge in the second set on a kill from Devin McCormack.
- Williams rattled off an 8-4 run, capped by a swing down the line by Keely Campuzano, for an 11-9 advantage.

- The third frame saw neither team grab more than a three-point lead through the first 38 points. Tied at 19-19, Middlebury rattled off the next four points, earning a 23-19 advantage on a block from Gabbie O'Toole and Tuccio.
- The Ephs responded with a 5-1 run, equaling the stanza at 24-24 on a Fricke service ace.
- The Panthers persevered with a kill by Harrison and a Keller service ace to take the third, 26-24.Â
- Even at 9-9 in the fourth frame, a kill by Harrison and a pair of Williams' attack errors gave the hosts a 12-9 advantage.
- The Ephs continued to battle, grabbing a 21-19 lead on a kill by Campuzano.
- Middlebury answered with three of the next four points, including a pair of point-earning swings from Tuccio, to tie up the set (22-22).
- After exchanging the next four points, a kill down the line by Harrison and a service ace from Keller propelled the Panthers to seal the frame (26-24) and the four-set win.
NOTES
- Annabella Rando ended her night with a career-high 21 digs, while Pribisich collected a career-best nine kills.
- Harrison concluded with a match-high 16 kills, pushing her streak to 10-consecutive contests with double digits. She also matched her career-high with 20 digs alongside three service aces.
- The victory was the sixth-consecutive overall win for the Panthers, improving to a perfect 4-0 in home matches.
Middlebury returns to competition on Saturday when it plays UMass Dartmouth at 2:30 p.m. The contest will be hosted by Williams.
