The ninth-ranked Middlebury men's tennis team fell behind 3-0 after doubles, but swept singles action to earn a 6-3 victory over Wesleyan.

- The Cardinals got out to a strong start, claiming #3 doubles by an 8-5 scoreline.
- Wesleyan extended its advantage to 3-0, edging Middlebury 8-6 in the first slot, while battling to the end and taking the match at #2 in a tiebreaker.
- Hugh Hentschel began the singles portion with a 6-0, 6-2 win in the sixth slot, before Neel Epstein won at #4 by identical 6-4 scorelines.
- Aidan Harris earned a tiebreaker win, before easing to a 6-3 second-set victory at #4 to knot the match at 3-3.
- A 6-4, 6-3 triumph at the top of the lineup by Julian Wu gave the Panthers their first lead of the day.
- Noah Lewis clinched the match for Middlebury in the fifth spot. The first-year edged his opponent 12-10 in a first-set breaker, before winning 6-4 in the second to secure the win for the Panthers.
- Earning the third first-set tiebreaker of the day was Robby Ward (9-7) at #2, before the Panther won 6-4 for the final 6-3 Middlebury victory.Â

- Epstein won his 50th career match, while extending his winning streak to double-digits (10).
- Lewis has now won six consecutive singles matches.

The Panthers continue their road stand, traveling to Hamilton and Amherst next Saturday and Sunday, respectively.Â
