The Middlebury women's basketball team pulled away from St. Lawrence in the final quarter of play en route to a 66-41 victory. The Panthers have won seven of their last eight games, including four-consecutive triumphs.

HIGHLIGHTS
- With 5:20 expired in the opening stanza, a fast break layup from Gabby Stuart gave Middlebury an early 6-2 edge.
- The Saints hung around, cutting the deficit to one point on three occasions and trailed 10-9 with 20 seconds left after a layup from Katie Chisholm.
- The Panthers closed out the quarter with a pair of free throws from Augusta Dixon for the 12-9 lead.
- St. Lawrence manufactured an 8-2 run over the final 4:39 of the second session, taking a 24-20 advantage heading into the break.
- Trailing 32-28 with 5:29 to go in the third quarter, Middlebury tallied nine unanswered points to move ahead 37-32. The run was highlighted by six points from Alexa Mustafaj.
- Chisholm answered with a three-pointer at the 1:16 mark, but a jumper from Dixon gave the Panthers a 39-35 edge heading into the final frame.
- Norah Niesz closed the gap to two points (39-37) out of the break, but that was as close as the Saints would get as Middlebury was dominant in the fourth quarter.
- The Panthers responded with a 6-0 run, and later tallied 19 unanswered points to close out the contest with the 66-41 triumph. Â

- Dixon recorded her second-straight double-double, registering 14 points and grabbing 12 boards.
- Mustafaj led all players with 26 points, while shooting a perfect 5-for-5 from the charity stripe.
- Middlebury and St. Lawrence met for the 14th time in a series where the Panthers now hold a 9-5 edge.Â
