Olivia Seymour Tabbed Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach

Olivia Seymour has been hired as the assistant women's lacrosse coach.
Middlebury has announced the hiring of Olivia Seymour as the assistant women's lacrosse coach. Seymour comes to the Panthers after serving as an assistant coach at Williams during the 2023 season.

"We are thrilled to welcome Olivia to the Middlebury community and the women's lacrosse program," said head coach Kate Livesay '03. "Olivia has great experience in the NESCAC, both as a standout player and as a coach. She is passionate about the game and possesses great enthusiasm for players and their individual development. Olivia will be a tremendous addition to our coaching staff and our program."

"I am so excited for the opportunity to work at Middlebury with such an amazing staff," said Seymour. "It is an honor to be selected for this position and I can't wait for the upcoming season!"

Seymour helped the Ephs to their first .500 season (10-6) since 2014, while advancing to the NESCAC Tournament for the first time in seven years.

Seymour graduated from Hamilton in 2022 and was an integral part of the women's lacrosse team for all four years. In her senior campaign, Seymour led the team in points (50), assists (18) and was second in goals (32), helping the squad qualify for the NESCAC Tournament and reach #12 in the national rankings. Seymour earned the Rippey Award at the conclusion of her career, an honor given to a player who best embodies Mackay Rippey's legacy with, "mental toughness, competitive spirit, sense of humor and team-first mentality." Seymour was named to the IWLCA All-Region Team twice in her career.
