Middlebury women's track and field athlete Cady Barns capped her career on Saturday with a 10th-place finish in the triple jump at the NCAA Championship.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• The best attempt for Barns was her first, leaping a distance of 11.92 meters. 
• Barns also competed in the long jump at nationals, placing third with a personal best mark of 5.82m on Thursday.

NOTES

• Johns Hopkins' Victoria Kadiri won the event for the second-consecutive year, hitting the sand at 13.21m. 
• Barns was making her second appearance at the NCAA Championship, having competed in the triple jump in 2021.
• The senior left her mark on the program, owning the long and triple jump records in both indoor and outdoor.
