NOTES
- With 10 strikeouts over seven innings of work, Alex Price ran his career total to 178, breaking a decades-old school record. The previous mark of 177 was set in 2002. Price also improved to 15-4 in his career, tying for second on Middlebury's list. He currently holds the single-season strikeouts mark (85 in 2022), but this year's current total of 56 moved him into a tie for fourth place.
- In game one, every Panther in the lineup recorded at least one hit. Despite being intentionally walked during Saturday's first game, Collins has hit safely in eight-consecutive contests.
- Kyle McCausland has at least one hit in 22 of Middlebury's 27 games. In the nightcap, he went 5-6 at the plate, joining Collins as one of 13 Panthers tied for second place with five hits in a single game.
Middlebury has a pair of mid-week non-conference games, before traveling to Amherst for the NESCAC West regular-season finale next weekend.
