Five members of the Middlebury women's indoor track and field team traveled to Tufts on Saturday to compete in the national qualifying meet. 
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• The women's distance medley relay (Audrey Grimes, Michelle Louie, Ciara Dale and Kate Kenny) finished in first place out of eight squads. Their time of 11:50.58 is nearly 10 seconds better than last week's finish and currently ranks 13th in Division III. 
• Cady Barns attempted to better her mark in the long jump at today's meet. She finished in sixth with a leap of 5.28m. Her best jump of the season (5.60m) is currently 23rd in the country. Barns is also ranked 19th in the triple jump (11.73m).

 
Selections for the NCAA Indoor Championship will be announced on ncaa.com on Sunday by 5:00 p.m. This year's championships will take place March 10-11 at Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.
