The Middlebury men's basketball team utilized runs of 11-0 and 8-2 in Sunday's second stanza, turning a two-point halftime deficit into a 90-86 victory over Endicott.
David Brennan finished the contest with career-high totals of 23 points and 21 rebounds to fuel the Panther win. The rebounding effort is tied for the fourth-highest single-game mark in program history.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Knotted at 13-13 just over five minutes into the contest, the Gulls ripped off an 8-3 burst spanning 4:59 for a 21-16 advantage capped on a basket in the paint by Jeff Hill.
- Middlebury slowly clawed back into the game, tying it (30-30) on a three-point field goal by Tristan Joseph with 5:04 left before halftime.
- The teams exchanged baskets before a pair of free throws from Hill gave the visitors a 36-34 edge at the intermission.
- Both sides came out of the locker rooms firing to start the high-scoring second half. Down by three (47-44), Endicott manufactured a quick 9-0 spurt covering 1:56 of action for a 53-47 lead on a jumper by Matt Boen with 14:38 showing on the clock.
- The Panthers answered with 11 unanswered points spanning the next 2:34, highlighted by nine points from Noah Osher, for a 58-53 advantage.
- Maintaining small leads over the next five minutes, a decisive 8-2 run by the Panthers, including a rare four-point play from Osher, gave the hosts their largest lead (82-74) with just under five minutes remaining.
- Endicott sliced the deficit to a pair (82-80) on a fast-break jumper from Jalen Echevarria two minutes later, but back-to-back buckets from Brennan and Jackson McKersie increased the lead to six (86-80) with 1:24 left.
- The Panthers cashed in four of six free throws down the stretch to hang on for the 90-86 victory.
NOTES
- Osher concluded the contest with a career-best 32 points, including 23 in the second half, on 12-of-22 shooting and 5-of-7 from beyond the arc.
- Brennan's double-double is his first this season and the 10th of his career. He has also tallied 22 double-digit rebounding games during his time as a Panther.
- Joseph also tallied a career-best in points (15), while McKersie posted a career-high three blocked shots.
- Middlebury outrebounded the Gulls 48-38, including a 29-17 count in the opening half.
- The programs played for the 11th time with Middlebury holding a 9-2 advantage in the all-time series, winning the last seven meetings.
Middlebury returns to action on Tuesday with a 5:00 p.m. contest at New England College.
