- Middlebury's best chance of the opening stanza came with 3:25 to go. Hadzic flicked the ball toward goal before it reached Dugan on the doorstep. - The Camels leveled the score with 14:34 left in the game. Matt Scoffone ripped a left-footed blast from 25 yards out. Grady dove to his right and tipped the shot away, but the rebound fell to Gavin Mpiana who tapped the ball into the net to tie the contest at 1-1.
- Middlebury nearly grabbed a late winner at the 83:22 mark. Jordan Saint-Louis floated a corner into the box and Owen Davis met the ball at the back post, but his one-time volley rang off the left post and the game ended in a draw.
