HIGHLIGHTS
  • The Panthers took an early 1-0 lead as part of a penalty corner. Amy Griffin drove to her right, finding Meg Shelburne just inside the circle. Shelburne ripped a blast from 12 yards that tucked inside the left post with 5:18 elapsed.
  • The Polar Bears strung together four penalty corners at the midway point of the quarter but were unable to muster a quality scoring chance.

  • The Panthers doubled their lead less than a minute later when Griffin blasted a backhanded shot from the left side that blazed past Arsenault with 5:17 gone in the quarter.
  • Middlebury made it a 3-0 game with 3:02 showing on the clock in the third quarter when Audrey Lazar tapped in a cross on the doorstep following a quick pass from Caroline Segal.
  • The Panthers increased their advantage to 4-0 with 5:23 gone in the fourth quarter when Griffin slipped a shot into the right side of the goal.
  • Neither team mustered any scoring chances over the final minutes, as Middlebury eased to the 4-0 victory.
