Middlebury kicked off competition at the 2022 New England Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship, as all three Panthers competing place in the top 20 of their respective events. The two-day meet is being hosted by Williams and concludes on Saturday with action starting at 10:00 a.m.

Cady Barns continued her banner season, placing third in the long jump with a distance of 5.60 meters, earning All-New England honors in the process. In the javelin, Jaxon Palmer took 11th with a throw of 34.19 meters.

Eva Kaiden competed in the only running event for the Panthers on the day, finishing 19th in the 100-meter dash with a clocking of 13.07 seconds.
