The fifth-ranked Middlebury women's tennis team (16-5) cruised to a 5-0 victory over North Central (22-6) in the second round of the 2022 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships on Friday. The Panthers advance into Saturday's regional final, taking on host and #11 Carnegie Mellon at noon.

Middlebury got off to a fast start, sweeping all three points in doubles in order with the top pairing of Amy Delman and Gena Huang easing to an 8-1 win. At second doubles, Brinlea La Barge and Sami Remis posted an 8-4 triumph, while the duo of Sahana Raman and Claudia Miller won 8-5 in the third spot for their 11th-straight doubles victory.
