The Middlebury men's hockey team dropped a 3-1 decision at Wesleyan on Saturday. The Panthers have a quick turnaround, hosting Amherst on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.

Wesleyan was able to strike quickly again to start the second period. Tyler Levine sent a pass from behind the net to a cutting Stevie O'Connor, before O'Connor found the goal to make it 2-0 with 3:33 expired.
The Panthers made it 2-1 at the 15:40 mark after back-to-back shots by
Bret Pastor and
Chris Garbe were turned away by netminder Erik Boloshin.
Jake Oblak broke through for Middlebury with the rebound from the doorstep.
The Panthers had a power-play opportunity with eight minutes to go in the game but were unable to get past a strong Cardinal defense. Wesleyan's Dixon deposited the puck into the empty net with 41 seconds remaining for the 3-1 final.
Horoho made 29 saves in goal for Middlebury, while Voloshin stopped 25 shots for Wesleyan.
