Several members of the Middlebury women's track and field team participated at the Tufts Last-Chance Meet on Thursday in the hopes of improving their standings for the upcoming selections for the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships.

Michelle Louie made the most of the meet, winning the 400 meters in 59.35 seconds, trimming off .42 seconds off of her seeding time.

Cassie Kearney was second to cross the finish line in the 800 meters (2:10.81) followed by
Nicole Johnson two spots later (2:12.30), as both runners improved their qualifying times.
Katelyn Pease recorded a personal-best time in the 1,500 by nearly five seconds, finishing the race in 4:46.01.
