Panther tandem Huang and Kavina Amin won the opening doubles match on court three with an 8-4 victory. Doubles play at #1 and #2 were back-and-forth affairs, with the Thoroughbreds coming away with both points in tiebreakers.

Trailing 2-1 after doubles, Middlebury's Sami Remis knotted the match 2-2 with a straightforward victory (6-2, 6-3) on court four. Caitlin Neal gave the Panthers a 3-2 edge with a 6-3, 6-4 win at #6.

In the top slot, Amy Delman dropped the first set 6-1, before battling back to triumph 6-3 in the second, but it was Skidmore's Risa Rukushige who won the super tiebreaker (10-3) to even the score 3-3. The Thoroughbreds took the lead with a 6-0, 6-2 victory at #3, before Middlebury's Amin knotted the match 4-4 with a win (6-4, 6-4) in the fifth spot.

Huang recorded match-point on court two. She got off to a quick start with a 6-2 victory in the first set, before a back-and-forth battle knotted the second set 6-6 to force a tiebreaker. In the tiebreaker, it was Huang who got to seven first (7-5), solidifying the 5-4 win for Middlebury.
