Middlebury claimed five of the six points during singles action en route to an 8-1 victory on Thursday evening at No. 13 Pomona-Pitzer. The second-ranked Panthers improve to 8-2 and wrap up their spring trip on Saturday with a 3:00 p.m. match at No. 4 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

The Panthers secured all three doubles points in the match. The tandem of Andre Xiao and Aleksandr Samets started things off with an 8-1 victory at No. 3 over Jed Kronenberg and Nils Skattum. The second team of Noah Farrell and Peter Martin posted an 8-5 win against Avery Bicks and Charlie Stark. The top duo of Lubomir Cuba and Nate Eazor completed the sweep for the Panthers with a narrow 8-7 victory against Octave Bellet De Giacomoni and Josh Gearou.

During singles action, Alex Vanezis picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win at the bottom of the lineup over Bicks, while Farrell clinched the match for the visitors with a 7-5, 6-1 victory in the top spot over Kronenberg. Eazor matched that score at No. 5 in a win over Quinn Hirsohn (7-5, 6-1).

The Sagehens (8-9) recorded their lone point of the contest with a victory in the No. 2 slot. Middlebury's Adam Guo tallied a 6-2, 6-3 triumph over Sam Gearou in the fourth flight, while Xiao completed the scoring in the third spot, posting a 2-6, 6-4, 10-4 win against Bellet De Giacomoni for the final 8-1 score.
