Middlebury men's diver Mike Chirico represented the Panthers during the opening day of the 2018 NCAA Division III Northeast-North Diving Regional. The two-day event is being hosted by the Panthers inside the Middlebury Natatorium.

Chirico finished eighth overall in the field of 23 participants on the 1-meter board with a score of 453.15 points. Connor Brisson of NYU claimed the regional title with a score of 510.00 points, while Connor Pennington of Springfield was the runner-up with 480.55 points.

The men will compete on the 3-meter board at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Qualifiers for the 2018 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana from March 21-24, will be announced at the conclusion of the meet.
