The opening day of the 2017 Middlebury Invitational has come to a close. Action is taking place at both the Proctor Tennis Courts (outdoors) and the Nelson Recreational Center (indoors) on the Middlebury campus. A total of six Panthers have advanced to the semifinal round in their respective singles brackets, while four doubles tandems have moved on to Sunday's competition. The second and final day of the invitational is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.
