Michael McGean swam in the 200-yard freestyle during the second day of the 2017 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships on Thursday. The four-day event is taking place at the Conroe ISD Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas and is being hosted by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and the City of Shenandoah.

In the morning swim, McGean touched the wall with a time of 1:43.39 to finish 46th in the event.

The third day of competition is scheduled to begin Thursday with preliminaries at 11:00 a.m., while the finals are slated for 7:00 p.m.
