Middlebury outscored Bridgewater State 28-13 in the fourth quarter en route to a 72-59 win over the Bears (2-7) at the NYU Holiday Classic. The Panthers (5-2) return to action on Sunday when they face the host school at 5:00 p.m.

Middlebury led 21-20 with 7:12 remaining in the second quarter when Bridgewater State went on a 14-4 run over the next 5:56 to take a 34-25 advantage. Just 1:16 later, they entered the intermission with a 36-27 lead.

The third quarter saw the Panthers chip into the lead, coming within a pair (46-44) on a bucket from Alex Huffman with 1:01 remaining.

Middlebury tied the game before taking a 48-46 lead with 7:54 left to play on four points from Catherine Harrison. The Bears battled back, going on an 8-0 run later in the quarter to take a 55-51 advantage with 5:01 remaining.

The Panthers' decisive run began with a three-point field goal from Sabrina Weeks, as Middlebury scored the game's next 12 points to lead 63-54 on a Huffman layup with 1:45 on the clock. The Panthers went 6-6 from the line in the final 33 seconds to seal the win.

Harrison led all scorers with a career-high 23 points to go along with a game-high 11 rebounds. She also added four assists and a pair of blocked shots while shooting 11-16 from the floor. Sarah Kaufman scored 19 points in the game, Weeks added 10 off the bench with six boards, while Colleen Caveney added seven points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Jennie Linland paced Bridgewater with 18 points, while Sara Dasilva added 11.

Middlebury finished the game shooting 47.5% from the floor (29-61), holding a 47-29 advantage on the boards.
