Stephan Koenigsberger and the women's 400 freestyle relay each set school records Saturday during the 2015 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships. The four-day event took place at the Conroe ISD Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas and was hosted by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and the City of Shenandoah.
As a team, the Panther women racked up 40 points, good for a tie for 18th place in the team standings. On the men's side, Koenigsberger represented Middlebury and accumulated 14 points for a tie for 38th place.
Competing on an individual basis during the final day was Koenigsberger. The third-year Panther posted the 15th-fastest time during the preliminaries of the 200 breaststroke (2:03.15). He capped off his junior season with a school-record swim of 2:01.87 in the consolation final, good for 12th place and Honorable Mention All-American honors.
The women's 400 free relay quartet of Morgan Burke, Jamie Hillas, Megan Griffin and Courtney Haron rewrote its own school record with a preliminary swim of 3:27.77, eclipsing the mark of 3:29.18 the quartet set during the NESCAC Championship. In the evening's final, the team finished 16th overall with a time of 3:28.89 and picked up Honorable Mention All-American accolades.
