The Middlebury men's tennis team ended its fall season at the Boston Invitational Tournament hosted by Tufts. The Panthers competed against Boston University and the host school in a series of mini-duals. Pairs from each school would face off in singles play against an opponent, before competing in a doubles match against each other in the best-of-three format, with one point awarded per win.
Ari Smolyar and Peter Heidrich picked up wins in all three of their "A" flight matches, defeating Tufts 2-1 and 3-0, while topping teammates Courtney Mountifield and William de Quant, 2-1. Mountifield and de Quant went 2-1 over three contests, defeating Tufts 2-1 and teammates Palmer Campbell and Chris Frost, 2-1. Campbell and Frost finished 2-1 as well, as the pair defeated teams from B.U. twice.
In the "B" flight, Noah Farrell and Kyle Schlanger earned a 3-0 mark with three victories over Tufts, 3-0, 2-0 and 2-1. Jackson Frons and Allen Jackson downed B.U. 3-0, before falling twice to the Jumbos, 2-1.
