Men's Tennis Defeats Trinity

The Middlebury men's tennis team won its second match in as many days, picking up an 8-1 win over 28th-ranked Trinity (5-5). Ninth-ranked Middlebury improves to 13-1 on the season, returning to action at Colby next Sunday.

After struggling in doubles play on Saturday, the Panthers came out strong with three wins on Sunday. The top two doubles matches were 8-4 wins, while Will Oberrender and Chris Frost were 9-7 winners over Kayong Lee and Ford Traff at #3.

Middlebury earned straight-set wins in singles slots 1-4, with Trinity picking up a win at #5. Alex Johnston, Brantner Jones, Teddy Fitzgibbons and Ari Smolyar earned wins, while Jackson Frons filled in for Middlebury in the sixth slot with a victory.
