Middlebury College men's tennis player Brantner Jones (Winnetka, Ill.) has been eliminated in the round of 16 at the NCAA Tennis Individual Championships at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C. Jones opened the tourney on Thursday morning with a 6-4, 7-5 victory over Wil Drougas of Case Western Reserve. Later in the day, the sophomore battled Nicholas Ballou of Cal-Lutheran, falling 6-1, 6-4, one round shy of the quarterfinals. He finishes up his season with a 17-8 mark for the Panthers.
