Men's Tennis Blanks Conn. - Tops Stevens

The Middlebury College men's tennis team, ranked seventh in the nation, posted a 9-0 victory against Connecticut College in NESCAC matches played on the South Tennis Courts Friday. The Panther men improve their record to 9-2 with a perfect 2-0 mark in the NESCAC, while the Camels fall to 5-4 with a 0-1 record in conference play.

Brantner Jones posted a 6-0, 6-2 victory to lead the Panther men at #1 singles. Connecticut College juniors George King  and JC Cangelosi dropped a close 9-7 decision at #1 doubles.

On Saturday, the Panthers were in New Jersey, handing Stevens Institute a 7-2 loss to improve to 10-2 overall.

Middlebury swept doubles play, falling at #2 and #3 singles. Jones was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at #1, while Teddy Fitzgibbons, Zach Bruchmiller and David Farah cruised at 4, 5 and 6.
