Men's Tennis Falls To Bowdoin

The Middlebury men's tennis team dropped it second straight NESCAC match, falling at home to Bowdoin, 5-4. The #7 Panthers fall to 10-4 overall, 4-2 in the NESCAC while the #9 Polar Bears improve to 8-5, 4-1 in the league.

Middlebury found themselves in a hole after doubles play, dropping all three contests despite having four match points at #3. The Panthers battled back in singles play, but it wasn't enough as the Polar Bears were able to take matches at #4 and #6 to pick up the win.

Bowdoin's Casey Grindon earned a 5-7, 6-1, 6-1 victory over Spencer Lunghino at #4, while Kyle Wolstencroft was a 6-1, 6-1 winner over David Farah at #6.

The tight match saw a three-set win (3-6, 6-3, 6-2) for Middlebury's #2 Alec Parower over Sam King as well as a three-set victory (3-6, 6-2, 7-5) at #5 by Panther Teddy Fitzgibbons over Noah Bragg.
