The Middlebury women's volleyball team went 1-1 on day two at the Hall of Fame Classic hosted by Smith and Mount Holyoke. The Panthers earned a 3-0 (19, 23, 16) win over Brandeis, before falling 3-2 (21-15, 25-22, 25-18, 22-25, 15-12) to Springfield.

Against Brandeis, Amy Hart (9), Julia Gibbs (8) and Madeline Firestone (8) paced the team in kills with 26 assists from Kathryn Haderlein. Gibbs added three service aces, with seven digs from Caitlin Barrett and six from Gibbs.

Megan Jarchow finished with 19 kills in the match against the Pride, followed by 10 from Gibbs and eight apiece from Firestone and Hart. Gibbs added seven service aces and 15 digs, Barrett earned a team-high 24 digs, Haderlein dished out 45 assists with five blocks from Firestone.

Jarchow earned all-tournament team honors.
