The Middlebury women's volleyball team improved to 3-2 overall with a 3-0 (21,14, 14) win over Norwich (4-4) in the team's home-opener in Pepin Gym. The Panthers return to action on Friday night, taking on Trinity at Wesleyan.

Megan Jarchow and Elissa Goeke led the balanced scoring attack with five kills apiece, while Sarah Studwell added four. Courtney Shepard earned 14 assists in the game, Julia Gibbs had six assists, five service aces and four blocks assists.

Defensively, Caitlin Barrett earned a team-high 11 digs, Meg Anderson picked up nine, while Gibbs added eight.
