The Panther women's basketball team captured the SUNY-Brockport tournament by topping the hosts 81-71 in the title game. Lauren Sanchez earned tournament M.V.P. honors, while Brittany Perfetti was named to the All-Tournament team.

Lauren Sanchez followed up her 30-point effort last night with 17 today to lead the team. She converted 23-26 free throws on the weekend in 70 minutes. Perfetti scored 15 points on 5 of 10 shooting, while Stephany Surette scored six with 11 rebounds.

The Panthers held a slight 40-36 edge on the boards, while picking up 10 steals.
