Women's Basketball Rolls Past Lyndon

Leah Kepping led a balanced scoring attack with 13 points as Middlebury defeated Lyndon 70-47 Sunday in a non-conference game. Stephany Surette and Elissa Goeke chipped in 12 points each for the Panthers, while Kaitlyn Fallon netted 10. Surette had a team-high three assists in the contest, while Maddie Moreau collected three steals. Jesse Miller came off the bench to grab a game-high 13 rebounds for Middlebury.

Donna Lawson had a game-high 20 points in her debut with the Lady Hornets and shared team-high rebounding honors with Naomi White, who collected nine. Abby Fadden handed out four assists for Lyndon while White had two steals in the contest.

Middlebury (7-4) hosts to Bates College on Friday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. while Lyndon (5-4) entertains Green Mountain College on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
