The Middlebury women's volleyball team wrapped-up its regular season with a pair of wins at Hamilton. The Panthers topped Colby 3-0 before earning a 3-1 win over Bates to finish at 7-3 in NESCAC play. Middlebury ends the regular season with a 20-5 mark and has earned the fourth seed for the upcoming NESCAC Tournament. Middlebury will take on #5 Amherst at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6th at Tufts.

Middlebury had little trouble with Colby, picking up a 3-0 victory at Hamilton. First-year player Julia Gibbs (Houston, Texas) led the offense with 12 kills in the match, followed by classmate Sarah Studwell (Pittsford, N.Y.) with eight and sophomore Jane Handel (Evanston, Ill.) with seven. Junior Lauren Barrett (Medfield, Mass.) had 15 digs in the match to go along with her 32 assists and three services aces.

In the regular season finale, the Panthers came away with a 3-1 victory over Bates at Hamilton. Handel paced the offense with 13 kills, while Barrett had 36 assists. Sophomore Caroline Cordle (Atlanta, Ga.) had 17 digs in the win, followed by senior Natalie DuPre (Louisville, Ky.) with 16 and first-year player Caitlin Barrett (Medfield, Mass.) with 15.
