The Middlebury College swimming and diving teams hit the road on Saturday for a meet at Union. The women earned a 193-106 win, while the men edged out a 150-143 victory. Emily McDonald (Glenwood Springs, Colo.) won three events on the afternoon to pace the Middlebury women, as the sophomore won the 200 free (1:59.99), 100 free (51.20) and 50 fly-27.49

First-year diver Meagan Collins (Darien, Conn.) won both of her events on the day (1M-220.94) & (3M-225.0), while senior Catherine Suppan (Burlington, Vt.) captured both the 50 breaststroke (31.83) and 200 breaststroke (2:30.65). Sophomore Annie Friedlander (Deephaven, Minn.) picked up a win in the 50 back (29.23), rookie Sarah Demers (Winter Park, Fla.) won the 1000 free (11:03.68), while junior Katie Soja (Sudbury, Mass.) was victorious in the 200 fly (2:16.12). Others winners for the Panthers included first-year swimmer Katherine Loftus (Madison, Conn.) in the 500 free (5:21.20) and sophomore Alyssa Ha (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) in the 100 IM (1:02.80).

Seniors Kevin O'Rourke (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) and Zach Woods (Monroe, N.Y.), along with first-year racer Nick Daly (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) each picked up a pair of wins for the men. O'Rourke won the 50 (22.22) and 500 free (4:43.82), Woods captured the 200 back (49.67) and 100 IM (55.62), while Daly earned wins in the 200 free (1:49.63) and 100 free (49.67). Also earning wins for the men were rookie Kazu Asaga (Chappaqua, N.Y.) in the 50 back (25.54) and sophomore Matthew Vukich (Madison, Wis.) in the 200 breaststroke (2:17.16).
