The Panther men's tennis team enjoyed success at the ITA Regional over the weekend hosted by Williams. Senior Conrad Olson (Waterloo, Belgium) was on a roll at the tourney, picking up five wins en route to a win in the 56-man bracket. Olson received a first-round bye and then won five straight-set victories, including a 6-1, 6-1 win in the finals.
Sophomore Andrew Peters (Baltimore, Md.) and first-year player David Farah (Flint, Mich.) both advanced to the round of 16 before being eliminated in singles play. In doubles action, Olson and Peters were 8-0, 8-4 and 8-2 winners before falling 8-5 in the semifinal round. Sophomore Rich Bonfiglio (Bronxville, N.Y.) and first-year player Eric Vehovec (Toronto, Ont.) picked up a pair of wins before falling in the quarterfinals.
