#4 Men's Tennis Tops #10 Trinity

The Middlebury College men's tennis team won its only match of the week as the fourth-ranked Panthers picked up a 6-1 win at #10 Trinity on Saturday.

Junior Alex Scott (Mt. Kisco, N.Y.) and senior Ari Beilin (Hamilton, Mass.) were 8-0 winners in doubles, while senior Brian Waldron (Rye, N.Y.) and junior George Mayer (Merion, Pa.) picked up an 8-4 win to give Middlebury a 1-0 lead. The Panthers then swept five of six singles matches to cruise to the win. Waldron was a 6-1, 6-2 winner, Beilin picked up a 7-5, 6-4 win, while senior Nate Edmunds (Birmingham, Mich.) was a 6-4, 6-0 victory at #3. Mayer won his match 6-3, 6-4, while Scott was a 6-3, 6-4 winner.
