The Middlebury women's basketball team suffered a 66-59 NESCAC road loss as Wesleyan. The Panthers return to action next weekend when they host Bates and Tufts.

The Cardinals led by as many as 17 with 8:00 left, but the Panthers battled back to cut the lead to 61-57 with 1:15 remaining. Wesleyan converted on its next possession and then hit three of four from the line to seal the win.

Alanna Young and Katie Fehsenfeld led Middlebury with 12 points apiece, while Maryanne Verzosa added 11.
