11/22/05 - Ashley Barron hit a three-point basket with just over a minute and a half remaining as Middlebury held on for a 45-43 win over Norwich at Andrews Hall. Barron's three-pointer broke a 42-all tie and Norwich could only muster one free throw from that point on.

The Cadets started the game out on a 20-8 run before the Panthers pulled to a six-point halftime deficit, 20-14. Middlebury then started out the second half on a 10-4 run and built its biggest lead of the game, 38-32, with just over six minutes remaining. Norwich then outscored Middlebury 10-6 for the tie, but could never regain the lead.

Barron led the team with 14 points on the night, while Katie Fisher added 13.
