1/22/05 - Middlebury moved to 2-2 in NESCAC play as they picked up a solid 68-59 win at Tufts. The Panthers return to action when they host Keene State on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

The Panthers shot well in the first half, connecting on .556 of their shots to take a 33-22 lead into the intermission. Middlebury stayed strong in the second half, holding a 46-32 edge on the boards on its way to the 68-59 win. Maryanne Verzosa led the team with 17 points on six-of-nine shooting, while Micaela McVary added 12 points and 15 rebounds. Erin Lackey (12 points) and Elyse Carlson (11 points) were the other Panthers in double figures.
