Middlebury opened up its home season with a 3-1 win over Union. The Panthers were led by Katy Hicks, who pounded out 17 kills on the night. Jackie Edwards added 12 kills, while Lacee Patterson had 11. Jamie Wong led the defense with 23 digs, followed by Patterson with 14.  Lexie Fisher had five blocks in the match, while Laurie Wollin dished out 46 assists.
