Alice Lee

Lee joined the staff in the summer of 2015 after spending the previous four seasons at Amherst. In that time, she helped lead the team to the sweet 16 in 2012 and the final four in 2014. The 2012 squad ranked third nationally in goals against average. Lee was responsible for film breakdown and served as the squad’s recruiting coordinator. She was also involved with the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC), fundraising, clinics and fitness. While at Amherst, she earned her master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts in 2015.

A coach at various camps and club teams throughout the country, Lee served on the IWLCA Division III Branding Committee, while also participating in the IWLCA's Project IRM, a minority coach mentoring program.

Lee came to Amherst from Buffalo State, where she served as an assistant coach for two years. During her tenure with the Bengals, Lee worked primarily with the team’s goalkeepers and defenders, assisting with practice planning, film breakdown and scouting.

The Western Massachusetts native also assisted in the program’s recruiting, alumni relations and fundraising efforts, while serving as the squad’s academic advisor.

In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Lee served as an event management supervisor for Buffalo State’s varsity athletic programs and a SAAC/Champs LifeSkills Assistant.

A standout as an undergraduate at Division I Central Connecticut State University, Lee enjoyed a decorated career for the Blue Devils, earning All-Conference accolades on three occasions. A two-time captain, she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Management in 2009, as the program’s single-season leader in saves, save percentage and ground balls and the school’s career leader in stops.
