Erin Quinn became the Director of Athletics at Middlebury in 2006 after serving as the head men’s lacrosse coach for 15 years. He retired from the College on June, 30 2026.

  • Under his direction as Athletic Director:
    • 22x NCAA Team Championships 
    • 80x NESCAC Team Championships
    • 27x NCAA Individual Champions
    • 2012 LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup
    • Top-15 places in the LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup every year 
    • Oversaw the comprehensive field and building renovation for the 18,000-square-foot Bostwick Family Squash Center, a LEED Platinum-certified facility, and Virtue Field House, a 110,000-square-foot LEED Gold-certified building
    • Oversaw comprehensive renovations and new buildings for outdoor fields including major upgrades at the Baseball and Softball Complex, Peter Kohn Field and the addition of 12 outdoor tennis courts
